–              Cables made of separate steel wires (swing freely

–              Central tower made up of four pylons.

–              Beams that crumple to absorb/disperse the force of the earthquake

–              Roadway is made up of several pieces

–              Hydraulic joints the provides flexibility and dispersement of force
